Being Led By The Holy Spirit

"I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."
(Galatians 5:16)

Walk-Line:

Have you ever heard someone say: "God told me to do this." Or "I felt God lead me to this ministry, or to this person, so that I might talk to them about receiving Jesus Christ as Savior, and Lord?" Have you ever felt the tugging of The Holy Spirit in making a serious decision, or choice? Or when you were tempted to do something contrary to the will of God, and you felt convicted by the Holy Spirit to resist that temptation?

Being led by the Holy Spirit is a central theme in the Christian walk, emphasizing a life of surrender, discernment, and obedience. Scripture teaches that the Holy Spirit guides believers in truth (John 16:13), convicts them of sin (John 16:8), and empowers them to live righteously (Galatians 5:16-25).

This leading is not always dramatic—it often comes through quiet promptings, a deep sense of peace, or clarity in decision-making. The Spirit uses God’s Word, prayer, and community to illuminate the path forward. Romans 8:14 declares, “For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God,” affirming that divine guidance is a mark of spiritual identity. To be led by the Spirit is to walk in step with God’s will, trusting that He directs our steps not just for our good, but for His glory.

If we are constantly studying and applying the Word of God to our lives, and staying in constant fellowship with the Lord in prayer. If we position ourselves to receive the direction, comfort, and peace from the Holy Spirit, I believe with all my heart, that we will be led down the path that the Holy Spirit provides, each and everyday of our lives! GP

How are we led my the Holy Spirit?
How does He direct our lives today?
It is through the study and application of the Bible,
That we will find the path He has for us each day!
