I Am Weak, But He Is Strong

I Am Weak, But He Is Strong

"And he said unto me. My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9)

 Walk-Line:
I remember as a child, singing the song "Jesus Loves Me." I didn't realize how a line in that song would really speak to me now as an adult. "I am weak, but He is strong."
I have tried to take my problems on in my own wisdom and strength. And each time I tried to do that, I found myself engulfed in uncertainty, worry, and discouragement.

Like the apostle Paul, who asked the Lord to take away his "thorn in the flesh." (whatever that was). But the Lord told Paul, after a three-fold request, that the Lord's grace would be sufficient. In other words, whatever the Lord provided in dealing with the issue, would be satisfactory, or sufficient. And that in the process of the Lord working in Paul's life, the Lord's strength, would come to be seen as perfect in Paul's limitations.

It is the same with us. The Lord will show Himself faithful, and able, to do what is necessary, what is even mighty, in the midst of our trials, and our weaknesses! GP

Jesus loves me, this I know,
for the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong,
they are weak, but He is strong!
