Holding On In Hope

Holding On In Hope

Walk-Line:

As we walk through this life, especially during these days, we are faced with a lot of challenges. Financial challenges, health challenges, relationship challenges, economic challenges. etc. When you you feel like you are barely hanging on in the day to day trials and turmoil, it is hard to hold on to hope.

In Scripture, holding on in hope is not passive—it’s a powerful act of faith. Romans 8:24–25 reminds us that “hope that is seen is no hope at all… But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” Biblical hope is rooted in the character of God, not in circumstances. When life feels uncertain or delayed, hope anchors the soul (Hebrews 6:19), reminding us that God’s promises are sure, even when fulfillment seems far off.

To hold on in hope is to trust that God is working behind the scenes, shaping outcomes for our good and His glory. It’s a daily choice to believe that what He has spoken will come to pass, even when the evidence hasn’t arrived yet. GP

How to hold on to hope,
When it seems like the future is not very bright.
Our hope is anchored in our faith in God.
It is in His faithfulness, that is always true, and right!
