Which Path Should I Take?

"Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it." (Jeremiah 6:16)

Walk-Line: When you were child, did you ever walk in the snow behind your father? I remember doing that. It was easier for me, because I just walked in the footprints my father already made. His footprints were bigger, and I had no trouble making it through the snow. God told the prophet Jeremiah to tell the people to "Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for ancient paths, where the good way is..." In essence look at the paths of old, that represent God's Word and will for His people. It is the good way that leads to rest for our souls. But just like people today, they responded: "No, were not going to do it!" "Were going to take our own path, do our own thing, live our own lives!" And where will that path lead? To much disappointment, despair, and destruction. Let' pray that we will listen to God, and follow the right path to receive His blessings for our lives!

Which path should we choose?
Which path is the best?
Only God has the best path,
That leads to His eternal rest!
