Our Insecurities & Regrets 

 "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." (Colossians 3:1-4) 

Walk-Line: One of the biggest challenges that people have, is dealing with their Insecurities. And the real threats to our Insecurities, is when life events do not turn out like we want them to. When people don't treat us like they should. When people don't value us, but make us feel small. On and on are the tests to our inner security. 

The apostle Paul writes to the Christians at Colosse, and in the first four verses, he tells them (and us) that our focus in life should be on the things above (the things of God, and not the things of earth) In seeking the things of God, we will not have the Insecurities, disappointments, and regrets that we find in the world. God is faithful, and His promises, and workings in our lives, are faithful, and  He  always has our best interest at heart. GP 

Life challenges can test our inner security. 

We can develop disappointments and regrets to a deep degree. 

But when our focus in on Christ Jesus, and our hope is fastened to Him, 

our security is solid, and we are free indeed. ___g/Patterson
