STAYING RIGHT WITH GOD 

"I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." (Psalm 119:11) 

Walk-Line: How do we stay right with God? How do we keep from sinning against God? The Psalmist in our text gives us a key to help us stay consistent in our dealing with temptation and sin. We are to store God's Word in our hearts. I remember a quote that my roommate in college had written on the cover of his Bible. "This book will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this book." It is in the continual reading, and application of God's Word, that will help us to stay consistent in the will of God. 

How can we stay in the will of God, 

When temptation to sin keeps knocking on our heart's door? 

It is only in the storing of the riches of God's Word, 

that keeps us in His will forevermore!
