Obtaining Obedience

 

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (John 14:15) 

 Walk-Line: Are we not grateful for the faithfulness of God to us? But what about our faithfulness to Him? Jesus said to His disciples (and to us) that "If we love Him, we are to keep His commandments." We are to fulfill the will of God for our lives, by the teachings of God's Word. He knows what is best for us. His word is designed to protect us, and to preserve us, as we journey to our eternal home. Do you love Jesus, as He loves us? If so, then let's do what He says, and live productively, and eternally. 

The Love of Jesus is clear to see, 

By His life, His teachings, His death, and resurrection,

for you and me. 

True obedience should come from us. 

So we might live a good life today, 

and for all eternity.
