Make Room For Jesus

"He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:" (John 1:11-12)

Walk-Line: "Ever not been accepted by your family? Ever not been welcomed by your own people? Ever not been received by those to whom you should be most familiar? Jesus can relate. Isaiah prophesizes this rejection of Jesus in the Book which bears his name: (Isaiah 53) (Sharing-Bread.com)

What about today? Are we receiving the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives today? And if we profess to be Christians, have we truly given Him first place in our lives? Like a house with several rooms, which room have we given to Jesus? The master bedroom, or the main room in the house? Or have we given Him just a closet, because all the other rooms are full of worldly stuff? We need to more than just receive our Lord Jesus, we need to have Him be first and foremost in our lives. Only then will we be blessed today, and forever.

Whose birth the angels sang,
With Hallelujahs rang.

When Heav’n and earth together,

That Jesus now may enter
