AMERICA, A GODLY NATION? 

 "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!" (Psalm 33:12) 

Walk-Line: What would America look like if it was a godly nation? How would we act as Americans? How would we treat each other? Would there be the hatred, the prejudice, the division and violence we see today? Would the candidates that run for president hate each other? Would there be constant protesting as we see today? Many questions arise, if we were a godly nation. Our text tells us in one striking statement, how we can become, and stay, a godly nation. We will be blessed when "God is the Lord." When we as a nation submit totally to the authority of our awesome mighty God. When we take ourselves off the throne, and let God have is rightful place, as Lord, and King. By putting into practice the principles of God's Word, without question or hesitation. Then, and only then, will America be a godly nation. 

A blessed nation we will be, 

For all the world to see. 

When we obediently, 

Let "God be Lord" eternally.
