Peace

 

"For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
....." If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord." (Isaiah 9:6, Romans 12:18-19)

Walk-Line: This photo I chose for this Walk-Line devotion, is an illustration of how things should be among the people in the middle east, as well as all over the world.
True peace is only found in the person and teachings of Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace. And the apostle Paul reminds us, that it is up to us to pursue true peace with all men, and to Leave "vengeance" in the hands of the Lord.

True Peace is found in Jesus alone.
He is where joy and unity find a home.
Put away strife, and the pursuit of war
Let hate, and vengeance be no more.
