"I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy." (John 16:20)
Walk-Line: In a world of suffering and sorrow, it is hard to find joy and peace in this life. Here, as Jesus talks to His disciples about His coming death and resurrection, while the world would rejoice at His passing, His disciples would be very sorrowful. But wait, in time that sorrow would turn into joy. Isn't that the Lord's promise to all of us who believe? Yes, after a night of storm, and distress, joy comes in the morning!
Life is full of storms and sorrow,
No relief and rest comes our way.
But wait, and hold on to Jesus,
When He comes, joy is on it's way.
