God's Walk-Line Promises - God's Peace

God's Walk-Line Promises - God's Peace

As we continue along the Christian Journeyman Walk-Line, the second promise we cling to is God’s Peace—a peace not born from quiet circumstances, but from the steady heart of God Himself. Jesus told His disciples, “My peace I give you; not as the world gives” (John 14:27), reminding us that His peace is not fragile or fleeting. It settles deeper than our anxieties and steadies us when life feels unsteady. When we walk with God’s Presence, we discover that His Peace is not merely the absence of trouble but the assurance of His sovereignty in the midst of it. It is the calm that whispers, “I am with you,” even when storms rise. As journeymen of faith, we learn to receive this peace—not by striving for control, but by surrendering to the One who holds all things together. God’s Peace becomes both our anchor and our compass, guiding our steps with quiet confidence as we continue the journey He has set before us.

How can we find God's peace,
when trouble and anxiety overwhelm us?
It comes, when in faith, we totally surrender,
To His presence, His Word, and His grace.
