Exhibiting Endurance
Walk-Line:
As we follow through with the final months of winter, the subject of "endurance" comes to mind. What are you enduring today? What are you struggling to get through today? Here are some Scriptures to encourage us as we walk through the challenges, we are enduring.
Running The Race.
Hebrews 12:1-2 "run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith."
Persevere Through Trials.
James 1:2-4 "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness."
Strength Through Weakness.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
The Promise Of Renewal.
Isaiah 40:31 "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
Endurance Through Love.
1 Corinthians 13:7 "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Closing: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 8:37-39)
Testing the very fiber of our being.
But in Christ Jesus, we can endure,
Allowing His strength, to be our keeping.
